The summer workshop includes 5 sessions starting July 6th - July 10th and Aug 3rd - Aug 7th for 3 hours from 9:00 am -12:00 pm. The fee for the animation summer workshop is: $340.00, which includes all supplies and equipment usage. Each student will receive a DVD copy of the animation that they produce at the end of the workshop. download application
Course Outline. INTRODUCTION TO CLASSICAL ANIMATION
1) History in animation
2) Animation Principles
3) Character Construction
4) Caracter animated cycles
In this course, you will be introduced to the classical principles of Squash and Stretch, secondary & overlapping action, anticapation, action & reaction through several simple animated excercises that will teach the begining animator about acting and timing on the small screen.
Materials: Animation paper and pencils are included in course cost.
Does the summer workshop apply toward college?
This program is not connected with any college program, although this program does aid in providing experience and portfolio material for career-minded students.
Where are we located?
We are in the heart of middletown, NY. 23-27 west main street, 3rd floor.
Who can apply to the workshop?
Currently we are accepting students of the age 13 - 18. These students should have some basic drawing skills.
